Looking to get one of the re-release pink bimatrix in X flex to play in my R11. Looking for something under 45", any recommendations on how short I can get one without having to mess with weighting and such?

I have one butt cut at 42.5" in an adams 3 wood.....its awesome and didnt mess up anything.....if you replace it at same length as another shaft the swingweight goes up 4 points due to the steel tip section

Yeah, no need to mess with weighting with the steel tip section.  I think some of the guys in the True Temper test group cut theirs down to 44.5" and still had it swingweight a little higher than normal.
