Hi guys, hope someone can help me with this please.
I went to a Ping Anser driver fitting last week and at the time felt I got on very well and I was impressed with the results. So much so that I bought the driver in 9.5 with ahina 70 shaft in stiff. My swing speed went up to 99mph over my previous driver which was 95-96.
The fitter told me he felt this was the best combination for me as i do impart quite a lot of spin on the ball, impact is usually pretty good and central on the face, he also turned the loft down to 9 degree to help in reducing spin.
I have played 3 rounds since the purchase but with very mixed results the biggest problems are a push/cut and the more worrying thing for me is the ball is dropping out of the sky pretty dramatically at the end of the flight. I would like to say that the fitting was conducted using range balls so the ball flight problems where not evident at the time.
I would like to ask please would this be a driver/shaft issue or is it a swing fault? Thanks in advance for the replies.
