i watched it all 4 days and the kid is amazing!!

he led from day one and the pressure to par that last hole to win by 1 must have been unbelievable....

my hat's off to him and i wish him a long and successful career!!!

Good effort from Matsuyama, who was attempting to get a 3rd consecutive win.

ANGC could set their own rules if they choose...

The odds of that happening are the same as me getting a chance to play there.

BTW does anyone know the yardage of that course he won in in thailand??

he could not reach some of the long par 4s so i hope he gains some length by the time he gets to augusta or else he will be struggling there..

...did they actually play at that yardage??

if they did then he just may do well in augusta as it is listed at less than that...but then many of the drives require a long carry and have little roll..

I thought Matteo was the youngest to make the cut, not to play. Double record then :D

Guan was a quarterfinalist at this year's US Amateur and last November he was the youngest winner of China's Amateur Open. Usually it's the LPGA you has the really young prodigies as women mature much more quickly.

this kid has crazy short game and putting, he was what -14 on a 7300+ course so even if he cant reach some of the holes he should just about manage to put together a decent score hopefully as long as his short game and putting is as good as what it was at the asian am... but man he is good
