A few years ago I was a golf club fanatic.  These days I'm out of touch and looking to buy a new driver.  Taylormade RBZ Tour TP looks like the way to go.  Everyone that I've met who plays it says it's long and forgiving.  Given the recent oem price drop though I imagine a new replacement won't be far away for Taylormade.  I'm open to all suggestions, let me know what you think I should look at.  $500 is pretty much my price limit.  Thanks!

Try a bunch. Dont rely completely on launch monitors. Get them on the course!

What Willie said. All we are going to do is suggest a bunch of different drivers that we like. Go demo as many as you can and take home the one that works best for you.

Your budget will get you a LONG way in the current market! You have a ton of options, just make sure you get you hands on as many as you can to try them.  Some drivers look and feel a lot better in person than they seem on the internet.

Any specifics on what you're looking for? Try and narrow it down for yourself, whether it's finish, adjustability (or not), face angle, weight, etc.  If you can get an idea on those, folks on here can give you plenty of help narrowing it down.

Great advice, narrowing it down by trying different clubs may be the best option.  I was thinking in terms of shaft offerings.
