Yup, the hula in my avatar is in the main bag... and one of the two hula loops (that make up the background of my avatar) is in the travel bag. Both have the velcro removed, are sewn shut (with just enough room for my napa's to slide in), and have magnets installed (inside) to keep them from falling off the small putter head.

Yep, I used to collect the headcovers and Napa/Newport putters....all just sat in a room! It was a waste in my opinion, I try and game everything I have.

I use my kombi headcover. Quick question though, are there any magnetic large mallet headcovers (doesn't necessarily have to be a Scotty branded one)?

Have a 05 Acorn PGA Champ been in the bag since 05.  Not the best looking cover and doesn't match much.  I just game the studio selects.  They are durable and look ok.

Anyone with a Scotty Cameron should always use a Scotty Cameron Head cover, doesn't make much sense to use another cover. The limited Edition ones are the best though, wouldn't be the same without them!

11 year old pro platinum newport mid slant with original cover.
I to, like post #61. long ago removed the velcrose strips and sewn down back seam which makes for a snugger fit geeting on and off vs falling off.

Yes, black industrial JYD, veclro is pretty much worn out after 6 months.  Wish they had a magnetic closure like some of the blade style Odyessys I've had in the past.  I think it's planned obsolescence, but will figure something out before I pay for another Scotty headcover.

Ah, the beanie babies of golf equipment. I don't have one for my Scotty, if I did, I don't think I'd use it, if ONLY because it screams "steal me".

I have an oddesey  on mine for this very reason, a theft deterent.

Haven't had a problem with a Scotty head-cover attracting thieves to my bag; but every single time I have left a Scotty cover or had one fall out/off  the cart unknowingly, I have never had it returned or found it on the backtrack. It is like they go to a special place all their own, never to be found.

If you put the cover on the club when you put it back in the bag your scenario would never happen.

They don't climb off of the club afterall.

The local muni par 3/driving range periodically puts out their lost and found stuff for free.

I grabbed a Pro Platinum cover - it was well used then, used it on my Ping Anser.

I used it for about four or five years till I just bought a Scotty which I like) and am using the stock cover (which frankly I don't like).

But never had a problem with the velcro on the PP cover, although the fit on the Anser is such that I could usually slip it off and on.

I game a few of the st pattys covers. But I do use all my covers.
I Stashed a away a couple of the ones with the robots on them for my boys for when they are a bit older.
So those ones are new.
I mostly game this one though.

I used to regularly game over a half dozen different anser style putters... including a Scotty, Bettinardi, Whitlam, Callaway, Cleveland, and Ping. I also have a couple "collectible" covers... nothing extremely valuable or rare, but they do hold some sentimental value to me.

Never used the stock covers or the collectible ones. Instead, I have a plain black AM&E I used no matter which putter I chose to use that round. A few reasons for this:

1) I play mostly public courses and I don't want to draw attention to my gear. The plain cover literally blends in with my black golf bag.
2) When I decide to sell any of my putters, I think a cleaner cover may help with resale.
3) I like the consistency of seeing the same thing in my bag. Since the style of all those putters are basically the same, I can just grab the putter out of my bag and not think about which one it is.

That said, I recently picked up a Callaway Dart and can't use my plain AM&E, since it won't fit.

I have a few SC covers for my 3.5 but found easier to use a gray Ping Karsten (with the magnet inside).

Other than being easy to use, I worry less about the head cover or the putter leaving my sight.

I use the stock Scotty Golo cover.  I don't worry about a theft deterrent, I'm left handed.  But if the thief looked closely, he would see I use a right handed putter!

I play my Industrial JYD Lime Green and White Custom Shop head cover but none of the other ones.  I am not oppsoed to using them, but, my circa 62 was sent back to the custom shop by my wife and the head cover matches the putter paint scheme so it just makes sense.

I don't use the Scotty headcovers - I use a non descript one instead.  It's just too tempting of a target to thieves.
