Who else got this game? It came out yesterday and I got a gift card for my birthday so I dropped by Best Buy to pick it up for my XBox. I'm not much into video games anymore since graduating college, but I've been seeing commercials for it for a while now and thought it looked pretty cool.

This is one awesome game! This is seriously the next best game I've played since MW3. I very briefly played the first Assassins Creed at a friends house when it first came out, but not really of the other ones. Man have I been missing out!

It is set in the colonial times during the Revolutionary War, fighting the Redcoats, which I thought was really cool and Patriotic.

I even ran into Benjamin Franklin!

Don't play a ton of games but have played nba2k13 lately. this game has been on my radar. need something to take my mind off golf during the winter months.

Played the last two installments of AC and enjoyed them both.  The new game is set durring the American Revolution which looks pretty cool. Haven't checked it out yet though. COD Black Ops comes out in two weeks!

Wait if the is the next best thing to MW3 then it cant be that good, MW3 was awful a shame it took me 100's of hours to finally get rid of that pos

I have never been into this style of game but this game looks really really good I think I might have to try it out.

I need to go pick it up. Played all of them to this point and loved them all.  Even my wife like them.

I beat the first two installments, and picked this one up earlier this week.  Played about 4 hours so far, and am not loving it yet.  Hopefully it grows on me.

I got mine yesterday and love it. But for people who want to play it I recommend that you understand the 4 other games before to understand the plot completely

You talking about the Aniums and the beginning of the game in general?

I was kinda confused at first as to what was going with the Animus and all, but a quick Google search fixed that.

woops I lied I just remembered the cut scene in the very beginning game that summaries the 1st four games. My bad

I'm a little disappointed with this one. It doesn't have as much of the fresh impact that the others did.

It also seems a lot of the polish was missed. There are lots of weird bugs and glitches that weren't in the first few games. The level design in the forest is cool, but it seems like they threw in a bunch of features and left out good voice acting and story. Some of the stuff that happens just seems ridiculous.

Totally agree with this, I'm about 20% through this one and theres a ton of glitches and freezes in it.
