Alright guys... I booked a morning and an afternoon time. The afternoon time is 2PM. Will that be enough time to finish, assuming a 4:15 round?

Also... anyone up for joining me then? It's $39 to play ($42 including tax). I am a about a 0.2 index, but don't mind playing with anyone that can break 100.

2pm on the dot? or the 2:05 time?  I would be up for joining you.

Yup. 2:05. Would love to play with a fellow WRXer. Hope you can make it.

for a higher price course, Id consider We-Ko-Pa where they have two courses. I havent played both courses, but I believe most that have would prefer Cholla out there.

Not me.  Saguaro is a far superior and much more fun to play golf course.  My #1 in the state for public access courses.

Hoping to hear back from the OP about his day at Southern Dunes.  How did you like the course?

Enjoyed Southern Dunes. Was in great shape. The greens were running great. Still cart path only, so I ended up only playing 18 there, because it was a very tiring round of golf. The course reminded me a lot of The Desert course at Primm Valley in Vegas. It was better though. Still definitive desert golf. I can't quite think that it would be the #5 course in the entire state though. There are no real distinguishing holes. Beautiful club house too.

Ended up shooting 75 off the gold tees (6900 yards). Ended bogey/double bogey for the 75. Only had 24 putts, with 12 1-putts. Yes... my ball striking was not good.

BTW: Ended up going to Ocotillo for my second round. It was recommended by the people I was paired up with. Wish I had not done that. Paid $43 for the round. Quit after 8 holes. 4 groups waiting to tee off on the 9th. Course was extremely blah, and greens were slow. Should have stayed at Southern Dunes.

Can you go into there being no distinguishing holes at southern dunes? I feel that it's one of the few courses where every hole is solid, no filler holes. Every par 3 is legi too.
