If anybody hasn;t seen the youtube video, NIKE is releasing the 2013  driver NOV. 5th.

They showed quotes from tour players, and one of them reads;

'It definitely won't be mistaken for any other driver" . I guess this means that Nike is going wild with this one. I personally love NIKE, so I'm biased.

What do you WRX'ers think ?

+1.  The swoosh gets no love here from the majority of Wrxers.  I cannot wait to see what they have up their sleeves though...

Nike makes good equipment, but it's ugly equipment.  They haven't had a wood that I'd bag since the original forged blue drivers.  Everything since has been butt ugly.

I bet if they can get TW and Rory in this driver and then market the heck out of that they will have a chance possibly.

But of course they won't be "real" Nike drivers.  :D

I couldn't disagree with you more.  I think the Nike VR LTD is one of the best drivers looks and appearance wise.

I like Nike gear but I wouldn't say that they don't make bad stuff.  Have you seen or played the original Machspeed series, the Method Core Drone, the Method Concept putter, any of the square drivers, etc.?  I feel like they are all examples of the "bad" stuff they've made.

That being said, I do agree that they've come a LONG way since the early 2000's... There were some atrocious clubs being made back then.

that is worse than the preachers daughter telling you that you are going to make out point!

COme on already, enough with a tease and then we need to wait 4 months to see touch and feel!!!

I am over stuff like this... I hope it is the next big thing... or just enough to help Tiger straighten out his drives and put Golf back in the lime Light!!!

Don't forget about the Nike VR Tour Driver either.  That one is a classic.  Great stock shaft in it too!

I did a review on the Nike Pro LE (glued in) and it was a very solid and capable driver, really well made. Not a fan however of the forged irons, just never seem to have great feel and consistency for me. I would bag a Nike driver offering in a heartbeat but 2013 will be a tough year to try and compete with Ping and Titleist, both of which will be very popular...BB

Yea I can't get used to the way their driver heads look at address, they never look aerodynamic

Unless they have the staff to really brand it even more (Tiger, Rory, Watney, etc.)

I cant wait for this. I like Nike product and my current Nike driver is among my top 2 ever. I will try it regardless of what it looks like but I think it will be a BEAST based on what I have heard.
