Nick Watney- Leaving Hugo Boss and Titleist for Nike
Webb Simpson- Leaving Polo for Izod apparel
Bubba- Leaving Travis Mathew. No confirmation about what he will be wearing.

heard from a little birdie this weekend that bubba is going to be wearing OAKLEY next year.  hunter mahan on the move to the swoosh as well!

Definitely noticing that Nike is on the rise for grabbing some big names right now. Definitely need a fresh group of guys in after AK and Paul Casey have fallen off a bit.

I love Travis Matthew but it is becoming too popular. Too many people wearing it. Very selfishly I am glad Bubba is leaving. He was helping them sell too much product for my liking!

hahaha i totally agree. i enjoyed being one of the few guys on the course wearing TM gear, then they were everywhere.

Nike seems to be learning that people might not notice what clubs a guy is hitting, but they will see that swoosh on the shirt when they are walking up the fairway!

It was understanding from WRX that what pros use affect anyone's buying habits.

I'm a huge fan of nike, and it would be nice to get all of these guys. BUT, I can't see Hunter leaving Ping. He's been with them since '03(contract wise) and I believe he played them in college. Seems really far fetched.

Plus if he leaves for Nike he's leaving Under Armour behind as well, and he's pretty much the face of that company's golf line.

I can't see it happening, although, someone posted a few months back that Ping renewed Bubba and Louis' contract but not Hunters.

What happened to Webb and Polo? He dropped them like an 8 fingered baby after the US Open win. Did they not pay certain performance bonuses?

Can't see it either. Huge blow for Ping if true. Maybe it's just an apparel deal and not a club deal.
