I think what frustrated folks is that they laid down $400 on a pre-order a month ago thinking they'd be among the first to receive their driver.  And some stores were offering them 10+ days before the pre-orders were going to be delivered.  $400 is a lot of jack to a lot of folks.  Yes they'll get them in a couple weeks but snow is about to fly in most areas...so folks are itching to give it a whirl.  It's got a lot of positive hype so when you wait a couple weeks longer than a guy who strolled into a store on a whim it's a little annoying..

Anyway back to "who has gotten their delivery?"  I saw 125 of them at a golf retailer yesterday - looking good and the headcovers are very cool in person!  I'm hitting my driver well but I'll still probably get one.

I really do understand your frustration. Titleist wants to have them all released at the same time, but with all those clubs, shipments have to be staggered and they rely on their resellers to follow the rules. Just not going to happen with everybody.

I hope you get yours soon my friend, and I hope it will be worth the wait!

I'm not one of the guys who pre-ordered but thanks.  I'm hitting my gamer well.  I'll still grab one when they are released.

bought my D3 yesterday in Carlsbad, CA.  9.5 with Phenom 72 Stiff.  First round results posted in another topic.  Very nice club!

Agree Kev..  Phenom and D+ were the leaders in the clubhouse at my demo…but the sales guy stripped the phenom when trying to move it from the D2 to the D3 for me, and rendered it unusable  - so I only got a brief feel for it in the D2…2-3 swings while cold.

Was the S+ just too soft for you? This old man may be the only one on the forum weak enough to go with it. I actually haven't been able to hit a ball since April, so it's just my starting point when I can hopefully swing next spring...

pretty high torque @ 4.5.  And you could feel it.  I fear the left and i went there one too many times with the S+.  And the REAL Kai'li and Blueboard are some of my favorite shafts in history.

I Pre-ordered mine from an Edwin Watts golf store in Florida.  I got the D3 9.5 degree with the D+ 72 x-stiff.  I was told I'd have it by the 9th but there's a possibility it might not get there until the 18th.  If thats the case I'll just find it at another store on the 9th, buy it, and cancel my order or return the pre-ordered driver with their 30 day return policy......their loss not mine.

Yea seriously. Discount Dans just told me mine hasn't even shipped. Total effing BS. If it's not shipped by tomorrow, I'll be canceling my order and just buying from any of the other chains.

If it was a custom order, ie longer shaft, different than std. shaft, tipped shaft, etc. then you may have difficulty in returning the driver as specified here:

It's in no way DD's fault that your driver hasn't shipped. Just relax. You'll get your driver eventually. If in a month you don't have your driver then you can start freaking out. They aren't even technically supposed to be released yet.

agreed but at the same time if we can walk into a store and get it friday (or sooner since some stores put them out early) then why would we wait for our pre-order to get here?  If it doesn't mean that I will be one of the first people to get this driver then why should I fork out the $399 so early?   The entire point of pre-ordering is to get the club FIRST, not last.

And that sums up the crux of my point.  Nobody is upset with retailers per-say - just the concept of pre-ordering has lost it's power and advantage.  Yes it's only a week or two but it's 70* here all week and 33 next week - snow is about to fly.  Plus guys like gear and are excited.  Nothing sinful about that.

Anyway Friday this will be a thing of the past!!

DD told me since mine is a custom order (I got a different grip) mine isn't suppose to ship til 11/9 even though when I tried to change the shafts two weeks ago they said it was already built and suppose to ship 11/1 not going to lie I am little disappointed

I'm assuming of course they had some extra stiff stock in hand for the initial launch. Alot of big chain retail stores like Golfsmith and Golf Galaxy, Dick's and Edwin Watts don't usually have Extra Stiff flexs available so that shouldn't be how the extra stiff inventory got depleted.

Then again I'm doing a whole lot of hoping and assuming here.

Just no point out, Titleist in Canada released these drivers on the 1st, and I believe the US date is the 9th.  That's why Golf Town already has them out in Canada.

This could be correct as I ordered mine from DD on 10/15 so it might have been built and ready to go beforehand. I also have it custom (1/2 longer) specific setting, grip and swingweight requested...
