If the OP does not care if the head is conforming, he could look at heads like the Wishon 9590L. As for conforming heads, I have personally gotten the highest ball speeds from the Nike VR Tour.

I agree with forgiveness being probably the biggest factor as far as the head is concerned, hitting more off center hits straighter with less loss of distance. For me, the "hotter" is in the shaft.
