Joe Duffer - that is a fabulous bag! First 1,3,5 of Texans I've seen in a pic ! What are the 1+'s like to hit ?

Thanks Blade... Fred sold me the driver and 3-wood several years back, and even spotted the 5-wood on eBay for me as well. Thanks again Fred !!

The 1969 Hogan Bounce Sole +1's are as solid and heavy an iron as Hogan ever made. They were D7 at standard length/original grips when I first bought them.

As most irons from that era, the sweet-spot is small and right next to the hosel. EVERYONE should have a set in their collection.

BTW, BladeJunkie is my username on a couple of putter forums. :fan_1:  :good:

Joe, I sold you those? Thats right.. I must have been out of my mind.  As if I woulda forgot about that. ;-) I know they are in a good home.

btw, that driver is the sweetest feeling thing I've ever hit.  Its got a great shaft in there (R300).

Ol_Pardner, blade junkie, Joe Duffer, et al,

Thanks for the pics & lists; especially good reading after Sandy & a nor'easter have created some 'unplayable lies' here on Long Island!

Just got the Classic Bag completed this year and have been out with them twice.

Woods- Macgregor MT Tourney W2MT 1967 Models 1,2,3,4,5 w/ aluminum insert and steel shaft. Bought new by my dad in 1967 and absconded by me around 1978. Refinished in 1987. Also, just picked up a great condiditon Macgregor Jack Nicklaus Murfield Driver.

Irons- 1964/65 Macgregor DX Tourney DX2 irons 2-11 with steel shafts. Got these in April from a local used club shop for $25 and have cleaned them, repainted and gripped. A set like this was my first real set of irons that my dad handed down to me when he bought his VIP's.

Putters- Ping Anser 029 or Spaulding TP Mills TPM 1

Bag - White Burton 9"

I'm looking foward to getting out with these more
