I'm always looking for the newest tunes. This came out today. The kind of song I imagine will be all over the radio waves in a month.

T.I. & Lil Wayne - Wit Me

Personally I hate Lil Wayne and 99.999% of his songs and songs he is in. Have any of you heard Memories Back Then with T.I., featuring B.o.B. and Kendrick? That song is sick.

The local radio station put on In Da Club today during a throwback hour...I really don't think I appreciated Get Rich or Die Trying enough when it came out. Perhaps because I was in 5th grade and just starting to enjoy rap, haha. But for me, Get Rich or Die Trying is easily up there with best rap albums ever.

While I definitely think Wayne's glory days are behind him, he still has the ability to drop some crazy bars on songs. His lyricism and metaphor use really catches me off guard sometimes. That said I'm a bigger fan of his more unknown songs and his random singles/ leaks. Listen below for what I mean.

Being from NC I'm partial to Dirty South rap since that's what I grew up on.

OK, so i realize i've started a few threads in the 19th hole recently. But some of the golf talk gets repetitive.

Anyone miss the glory days of rap? I mean from 1990-2000 some pretty amazing stuff was released.

You can tell from my avatar i am a big Wu-Tang fan. My favorite (surprise maybe) was never ODB but the Ghostface Killah. Favorite song ever probably "mighty healthy". I think "shakey dogs" is another awesome one from his later albums. Apollo Kids was great too. Fish aswell...Nobody beat Ghostface when he was really on. But i liked NAS, Biggie aswell. Mobb Deep etc etc.

The Wu was my favorite though. Had all the albums. Probably know every song from that time period by heart.

Anyone miss the old days? You know, before Kanye and Jay Z turned it into pop?
College Dropout and Late registration are Kanye albums that I say are the best of the 2000 - 2010. Yeah it isint Illmatic, but also amazing

Chronic 2001!

Classic.

This is probably sacrilege, but I liked it better than the original Chronic. Then again, it's probably because I am far too young to remember the Chronic, but the Chronic 2001 was just when I was beginning to like rap.
