I know...I have been. I have purchased some in the past that I wasn't happy with. Just wanted some input from someone who has found a product that they were happy with.

How is it working out? I've looked at them and am wondering how it rolls, etc. Thanks!

It rolls great! I ordered the medium speed which seems a little faster than most of the greens I play on. Thank goodness I didn't order the fastest. If I had to do it all over again, and I would, I would get the Bi-directional option so I could have the medium and slower speeds on it.
I have it in my garage which is a great place for it (also motivated me to finally clean it up!). I say it's great for the garage because while it is no means "bad" looking or anything, it is not likesome of the way more expensive, and better looking alternatives. It is made of foam, so when you step on it, it does give under your feet, although it comes back up in all of a few seconds. I would also definitely suggest the double base, as it makes the holes deeper. I think it would be pretty annoying if I ordered it without because the holes would be about as deep as coaster. I've also read reviews where some folks complain about that part. While the double base is no regulation cup, it does provide enough room for the ball to fall in without coming out about 95% of the time.
Bottom line:
The thing rolls GREAT!
The price is GREAT!
Without a doubt my putting and confidence has improved.
It is fun, sometimes I get "stuck" in the garage longer than my family would like
So the looks, and construction while not top of the line, have been easily outweighed by the positives that I've experienced.
I'd be interested in hearing if you pull the trigger, and what your thoughts were on it. Remember, I purchased this with the main priority of finding something affordable. If I had a bigger budget, say around $1200, instead of $180, I would have gone with a Tourlinks or equivalent. But for $180, it's Awesome!
P.S.
If you do order it, make sure to read everything on the web page, they offer a free upgrade to a bigger size, but you have to write "upgrade" or something in the comments section. I almost submitted the order, and barely caught that. That would have made for a different review as I think that part is stupid. They should just give the straight up prices, and cut all this smoke and mirror B.S.!! The damn things are always on sale, and they always offer the so called free upgrade!

I use Truline Greens material on my platform and in my bus. Great stuff in two different speeds.
