As the golf season is winding down, due to the fact of living in the Northwest, I want to take advantage of various stores having closeout sales on shoes. Does anyone have preferences/input on shoes that they used this year and had success with. Currently, I have a pair of FJs and a couple pair of Pumas. I have been looking at Nike and FJ for my next pair.

Does anyone have suggestions for me???
Thanks.

I have been wearing Adidas for the last 4-5 years and they fit me the best.  I usually wear the 360 line but also have a pair of the Ltds which are the high end shoe and it is really nice.  I am trying to decide if I can wear he blue ATVs, but they may be a little young for me.

Nike Lunar Control are seriously comfortable and very light.  I tried them on in-store then found them online for $100.

Thanks for the input. Definitely looking at some lunar controls or fj sports. Hoping my buddy from Nike can possibly hook me up.

Try some Ecco's

Really, really fine quality....all leather lined and very very comfortable and durable...I  found the white and brown(buffalo) saddle for $59 and grabbed them.

I tend to be particular and wore the original Air Nikes (w/ all leather linings) until they just broke down after about 7 hrs.

As with all shoes, fit/comfort should be paramount...as I tell my teenager when we go shopping...."Just do me a favor and try on ALL the brands---the one that fits the best is the one to get....not the one with the most ads..."

Been wearing TRUE's for the past year and if you can get over the slightly unconventional look you'll never play a more comfortable shoe.

Agreed. I have several pairs of Eccos(golf and non golf) and they are very comfortable and durable.

Ashworth Cardiffs.  I'm not a "shoe guy", but somehow I've picked up 3 pairs of these in the last 3 months.  I wear them to work too.

Could not agree more, especially the last part.  I've worn shoes from all the major manufacturers in the last 25 yrs or so.  Once I tried ecco I never bought another brand of golf shoe.  I now have all 3 versions of the biom (hybrid, hydromax and gtx spiked) and couldn't see myself switching to something else.  I just gave away about 6 other pair of ecco's.  I still have 2 pair of the World Class I need to get rid of but they look so nice.

I love my Adipure Nuovos! Not everyone loves the look, but they are ridiculously comfortable. It's nice knowing that I can walk 36-54 holes a day with my dogs barking at the end.
