My wife asked for a GPS watch for Christmas. Unfortunately, when I went to look at the watch she wanted (Garmin) I found it was much too large for her wrist. It's not just a matter of replacing the band - the faceplate is too wide for her wrist.

Anyone know of another GPS watch that would be smaller or have suggestions for another GPS unit?

She's interested in something that would be:

• Easy to remember (i.e. not leave on the course)
  
• Long battery life
  
• Rechargeable
  
• Small / unobtrusive

Ideally I'm looking for a watch but I don't see much out there.

Any help is appreciated.

besides other watches (all pretty large imo), maybe a golfbuddy voice. it's pretty small, like a later generation ipod shuffle.  you can turn off the voice and just clip it to belt or hat or whatever

Hmmm. I hadn't heard of that one  so looked it up on the GolfTown site (I'm still happy with my original uPro but keeping my ear to the ground for when that dies).

There is  a watchband extra for the golfbuddy voice. From the picture here, the whole package-unit and the GPS-  Might be smaller than the Garmin and might therefore be suitable for  a female wrist? http://www.golftown....px#.UIg4UoY3mAY

This is a Canadian price so I'm sure at least a few bucks cheaper in the USA.

amazon has had the cheapest price, at least in the US... typically 135 but was 117 for a while, 112 for a very short while. seems fluctuate a lot

A person could read your topic to mean that you want to make an even swap--GPS for wife.  Please post picture of your wife before I'll consider a swap
