The Adams A4 irons were justifiably very popular here a while back.  I still play a set with the above two irons and LOVE them.  The bottom section of the cavity is filled to lower the CG and they play very well out of the rough.  The last 4i went for $85 on ebay, so I figured someone here would be interested.  The seller seems to have a lot of them, so hopefully there's enough for all.  I love mine so much I thought I would pass it along.

I ordered and received the 4i.  Club looks good.  The finish is not chrome but rather the satin version of the a4's.

The shaft is a true temper shaft made for Adams.  The stepping profile looks similar to a TT dynalite gold.

That figures as the chrome ones were retail.  The stain ones were only available through select channels and included the 3i and 4i.  I think that's an even better deal now!

those a4 irons are awesome!
i like them over my mizuno mx300.
very smooth feeling even though they are not forged, and the distance was excellent.

The A4's the OP is mentioning ARE forged.  The A4r irons aren't, and I believe the A4 Tour (tour issue) irons aren't.

I bought the single 4-iron.

Haven't used it yet because I need to get it cut down to normal 4 iron size.  Not sure if I will try my luck with this shaft (Adams Performance Lite) or insert a DG SL to match the rest of my set.

I bought the 4 iron that matches the rest of the set i.e it doesn't have the insert in the back cavity.

I'm not sure what the loft of the 4 iron is but given the 5 iron in the set is 26 degrees my best bet would be 23 degrees.
