I think someone in the Cally X Utility thread said he has already pre-ordered one of these. I too am not getting excited as even if it does come to retail, the odds of a lefty version are ZERO!!!!

3 months and nothing? With so many sets missing 2,3 and even 4 irons nowadays these types of clubs should be more popular IMO. If these do ever show up on shelves I'm thinking of having a 3 and 4 of these and keeping my 2H.

Yes fellas it's confirmed they are indeed coming to retail, not sure of the specific release dates but it's coming. HOWEVER, if you haven't seen or hit the Callaway Proto Utility you really owe it to yourself to give it look, it's REALLY REALLY good. The HO in me is went with 24* Cally for the ease of launch and 21* in the Titleist (both PXi 5.5's), I'm guessing the traditional driving iron styling means bullets! Thank God I baught two new tradional hybrids this season, might be lonely in the backup bag...BB

Any word if the Titleist will come in lefty? At this point whoever comes out with a lefty 1st, either Callaway or Titleist will get my business. If neither come out then I will probably get either a X Hot or Rocketbladz 3 iron to use as my driving iron.

Yes Yrag almost certainly, now the Callaway option I don't know!? This one I hear plays much more like a true laserbeam driving iron...BB

I'm not sure anybody knows yet but soon, pretty sure it will be 100% custom order only so I wouldn't expect to see many in the shops and who knows production volume, doubt it will be produced in quantity...BB

These are definitely the best looking of these type of clubs. for those that pre-ordered, were you quoted a date for release?

Yes pure custom order only is what I'm told and won't know anymore until after meetings next few weeks, until then we will wait anxiously.

Im super stoked about this! I almost bought a 712cb 2 iron last weekend but talked myself into waiting to see if somehow this would be released! There making a smart move on this unlike with the 503i. All those people who spent alot of dough for these early are certainly upset to hear this news im sure. How would you go about custom ordering? Never have done it before and would surely like to know how to go about it?
