I have this and have used it on my push cart but it would work well on a riding cart.

It's also cheaper than the OEM Skycaddie holders and works with your standard belt clip.

I have been using Sky-caddies Temp cart mount.  It works on all size cart roof stanchions and push carts, and it's sturdy.

I've had this for 3 years now, well built and never an issue. I use it on my Clic Gear, and mainly while in a cart. Recommended.

I own both. All of the Skycaddie mounts are of much better quality. I had a couple of times where with the Caddie Buddy, the Skycaddie popped free of the belt clip and dropped to the cart floor. I got lucky that it did not cause any damage or break the Skycaddie. With the Skycaddie mounts, that cannot happen.

+1 I have the caddie Buddy too, only issue was when the thumb screw loosened - just have to check it each time.  For less than a third of the Skycaddie mount, its a great value, and it fits in the travel case that came with my SG5.
