I'm taking a trip to Ft. Lauderdale/Miami in a few weeks and need some recommendations on where to play. I want to play 3 separate courses, money is no object. What are the best of the best? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Again, I don't care what it costs as long as its cool. Thanks.

In North Miami, Turnberry Isle Resort has two 18 hole RTJ Sr designs, both are excellent
In west Miami, play the Blue Monster at Doral
In Fort Lauderdale, play Grande Oaks, where Caddyshack was filmed, but you need to stay at the Marriott there for access to the golf club

We're playing Doral, both the blue monster and the great white. Not going to stay at the Marriott as I'm a Starwood guy. I'll check out Turnberry Isle though. Thanks for the tips.

Doral and Turnberry are obviously great courses but very pricey. If you want something more reasonable check out Hillcrest in Hollywood. I found it to be a very fun course to play.

Might look into Diplomat Country Club. It's affiliated the Westin Diplomat. Haven't played in several years but I recall enjoying it on our last visit.

I liked it when it was Rolling Hills, not sure what they did to make it Grande Oaks. Doral would be nice if you haven't played there before, otherwise overrated.

I highly recommend Plantation Preserve.  It was my favorite when I visited down there, and I played Grande Oaks, the Old Herron Bay, Jacaranda, and the Palm Aire courses.

I'm playing there Wednesday, a private course Thursday and the blue monster Friday. Need a place for Saturday and I'm coming up empty when searching.

Check out Crandon Park.  A little bit farther south than the others that were recommended and mentioned, but nice course with good views of downtown Miami.  Not as pricey as the others, but also a city-owned place.  Also the former home of the Champions Tour Royal Carribean Classic.
