Srixon soft feel vs q-star

Back to your initial point, i've been trying out Srixon balls recently - the ad333 do feel more solid than the soft feel, and I've found them to be less forgiving than the soft feel on mishits.
TBH, the Z Star and TriSpeed were probably my favourite - I just picked up 50 used Z Star for £30 on eBay as my winter balls; as long as you don't mind using used balls, then that could be another option. At this time of year though, I don't feel a huge amount of difference between balls after the tee because of wet and muddy course conditions.
