New iron shaft that Nunchuk is bringing to the Tour.

Two different paint jobs that they working on.  Solid silver/grey or the silver-grey & burgundy shaft.  They are also trying to decide on the graphics.

Looking at doing the silver/grey shaft with a burgundy block on the underside with white graphics, similar to what is on the burgundy & silver/grey shaft.

Thoughts on graphics?

Specs =

The shaft is 104g and the torque is 3.3. Same concept as the Nunchuk wood and hybrid shafts - no flex, one model for all golfers, no tip trimming.

both colors  seems clean,  how an iron shaft should be....   i would maybe try a nunchuck  for the top part and the link connected the bottom part... right below the grip    ,,,  might be good for people to spot the nunchuck link and instantly know what the shaft is...

Silver...I like the clean looks. Same reason some install label down when they can......

Will these be heavyish to allow swapping into steel shafted clubs with little fuss? That would be sweet.

As soon as I get the particulars on the shafts I will post.  Based on what the driver weighs, I'd guess these will be on the heavy side and pretty firm but I could be wrong.

I like the all silver. Two toned irons shaft never really fit my eye.

I seem to be the minority here, but wish they had colors other than purple. I play the nunchuk in my 3 wood and hybrid for the performance, which is by far the most important issue for me, but just wish they weren't purple.

Just an FYI, the shaft is burgundy not purple.

I like the idea and would maybe try them, but to me both color schemes look like women's shafts.

Silver on the irons.  These look like a great option for my 3 or 4 iron.

Personally, I don't like either the silver/grey or the burgundy & silver, but the silver/grey is the lesser of the two evils. I don't mind colors on wood shafts but I hate any sort of distraction on irons. The cleaner/simpler the better for me.

Hi Scooter - I like the silver as well.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not putting down the shaft - but - Unfortunately I still believe that Nunchuk is for the 'rich and famous' - I would love to try one - but for an average shmuck like me and maybe you  - it's way to expensive. I'm thinking an iron shaft might be around $150 to $200 maybe more.

If someone is going to develop a new shaft it's got to be affordable to the masses. The Recoil is a new design - not sure of the price - the Aerotechs are a great shaft and much more affordable.  High end yes - but - everyone can't afford a Porsche in today's economy.  Anybody agree ?

The burgandy is hideious.  But then I'm not the typical golfer, being gay and posessing refined taste, so the burgandy probably won't hurt sales.

Where are you getting 200 per for an iron shaft? They actually want to sell some right? Are you just guessing?

Kymar I must admit that is a guess. If the driver shaft is $400 plus in Canada I'm thinking that might be the price. I hope they can put this iron shaft in the $50 range. That would make it competitive to some of the newer shafts like the Recoil from UST and the Aerotechs. Again - this is a phenomenal shaft - and I hope it's available to 'Joe Six Pack' of the golfing community.
