So 2 weeks ago I decided to turn from Ping to Mizuno and traded the S56's and ordered a set of MP59's and 2 MP T4 wedges. I ordered them on a friday and they were in Wednesday of the following week. I thought dang that was fast. So then being the ho that I am (I can't believe I just said that) I decided I also wanted a set of MP 69's to mess around and mix and match with the MP59's. So I ordered a set of 69 with the MP R12 wedges. Wouldn't you know that I ordered them on monday and they came in on Thursday. That's freagin quick!

Now I'm fighting the urge to buy the MP650 driver and woods. They're calling me man!!!

Is it normal for Mizuno to be that fast?

I ordered JPX 800 Pros with PX steel and some basic loft/lie adjustments and custom grips. Ordered Monday and picked them up at the store on Friday - and the sales guy said they came in the evening before! I was pretty astonished. Same thing happened when my dad ordered his.

Titleist is the only manufacturer that has been true when it comes to expected dates, ordered my clubs and was quoted 2 weeks, that's when they arrived.  With my Mizuno MP 53's,  I had them within a week of first email to DD's.  What blew me away even more was my Ping order to TGW.  When I ordered in early September they quoted about a month before they would ship(October 6th).  Checked the status a few days later and it had moved back to October 16th and I wasn't very happy.  That was on Sept 18th, about 6 days after order.  They arrived on my doorstep the next day...wierd...

Not only are they fast, they're fastidious spellers too.

When I special ordered my MP68s, they were late (almost two weeks) and the specs were not even close to what I ordered. They were not even uniform through the set.

That was my one and only experience with them, and won't ever try them again. If the video is to be believed, and I don't see any reason not to, it looks like they fixed the process. Good for them! :)

4 days for my MP63s to arrive.

That video is fun to watch.  The finish quality on my irons out of the box was the best I've ever seen.  Love these irons.

I ordered a set of irons (upgraded shafts) through my club's pro shop and they arrived in three days. Minzuno QC used to be terrible--one of the worst OEMs, but my last two sets have been perfect.

I've been a Mizzy fan for years and have never had one issue with them or their QC. I've had 4 sets of irons from them over the last 15 years:

2 sets of MP14s that lasted a total of 6 years
A set of MP37s that lasted almost 8 years
My current set of MP53/63/69 that is almost 1/2 year old

Like the earlier poster said, I've been eyeing an MP650 as well but the R11s is holding strong.

Pretty much every club I've ordered has been about that time frame. Cleveland set of irons. Vokey individual wedges.
Oh and you can expect the Pingbats on here to ride you hard now...lol.

Mizuno put this post up on their website, referring to golfwrx... It's good to know that they're interested/listening to what consumers are thinking and sayin.

They posted 'some' of the thread. And it's purely self-interest/marketing. Just like any other company. ;)

Agreed. Mizuno is really fast with custom orders. When I had MP 59s, I ordered a MP T-11 47* wedge to replace the set's PW. I got the custom made wedge in less than a week. Unlike Bridgestone who's taken 2 months and counting to send me a J40 DPC 4 iron. (Although, I can't hate on Bridgestone too much since the DPCs feel amazing. Just wish I could have the 4 iron sooner.)

I too, was pleasantly surprised at how fast my custom order arrived.

I ordered a MP-T4 wedge with custom specs from GolfGalaxy on a Monday and the club arrived at the store Friday of the same week! :pimp:

I ordered a non-pro 825 set from DD on a Sunday and I had it by Friday in my hands.  HOWEVER, the interesting part is that the order was shipped 2-day to DD and then they send it to me along with a nice letter.

Yeah i orded my split set of 59's 4-7 and 69's 8-P got them by Wednesday, but the guy said it would take two weeks. I opened the box and they sent me a whole set of 59's, called golfsmith back for at least 1.5hrs and I sent the 8-P back and got 69's the following Wednesday. So yes they are pretty fast even though they messed up my order. I will be a Mizzy for life though.
