The 20Xi-X was one of the most surprising and best balls I have tried lately.  It was my primary ball last year and I went through a case of them.  The only reason I changed, was because I got a really good deal on Penta TP5's.  I found the Xi-X to be longer than the ProV1x with less spin off the driver.  I also found it to be MUCH more accurate on iron shots and 65-105 approach shots.  It had less spin around the green, but still spun plenty.  Off the putter, was very hard, and the TP5 really beats it in that category.  Switching to the TP5 made me remember how much I prefer a softer feeling ball.  If Nike puts out an updated version of the 20Xi-X that performs the same with a softer feel, it will be a homerun in my book.  A great ball!

While it seems some of you may have some concerns about the original 20xi have no worries, the new one is here. Still a 4 piece, but this time the core is bigger, and the mantle is made of the RZN material as well, the ball is hotter of the face, slightly lower spin off the driver, and great iron control.

Also be on the lookout for a RZN ball in the mid-line category

I found a 20xi x yesterday and rather than throw it in the bag I cleaned it and decided to play it. I found it to be very long off driver....if they were 10 bucks cheaper a dozen they would be my new ball.  I think both callaway hex blacks and Nike 20xi should be cheaper than proV1s
They have tons of them on ebay for $25 doz w/free shipping. That tells me they aren't selling and there must be a reason.

But my main concern is if they still feel like I'm hitting a metal ball from a pinball machine :WTF:

Just started playing the 20xi-x at the end of summer and so far I love it. I didn't notice a difference in the feel and sound off of the putter from the PROV1x. That is until I put my Bobby Grace 4 diamond putter away once the greens were punched! I switched to my milled NC and that is when I really noticed the difference. It really does have a hard feel and sound!!!! I got used to it though and still love the ball. So if you use an insert putter this just might be a ball worth looking into!

It's borderline deafening hitting th XI-x off of the RBZ Tour driver!!

To update my review of these....I've played a more with them (20xi-x) and compared side by side with my usuall ProVx...

Off the irons I really like the Nike atleast as much as the Titleist, I notice very little difference, the Nike spins nicely but....

I really notice a dif off the Driver, the Nike def feels much firmer that the Titleist, almost to much so but....

All in all still a good ball for the price you can get them for now....I would play them in casual rounds or even my league but I will still go with the feel of the ProVx in any tourney rounds....

I agree with the original post. The One Tour series is much better. I actually have a friend who works at Nike and most people feel the same way. the 20XI ball feels like a rock off the face. The one tour is a lot softer and is also more durable. My friend told me that the new release of the 20xi's this year are supposed to be much better.

I hope they get it right.  I've been waiting on Nike to release a kick-a** ball that works for me since they got in the game!  I think the Nike swoosh is the best company logo on a ball going. Simple and not distracting.  I wanted to like the 20xi, but that thing is a rock off the tee.  Harder than any Pinnacle I've ever hit.  Maybe this new release is finally the year they get it right, but I've said that every year.

I gamed these golf balls finally towards the end of the season because they were on sale, priced to $29 at Dick's Sporting Goods.
I really like the feel around the greens and performance off the tee with them. Picked up some more for reserve.

I played a few more rounds with them since there are a lot of leaves on the courses here and I didn't want to lose ProV1x's.  I come away with the same feeling, garbage.  Every shot, pured or not, feels like a shank off the hosel or something.

Here's my two cents. I have a love hate relationship with this ball. I've had the 20XI-x's in and outta the bag for the past six months. From my experience, when hit flush they're 5-10 yards longer with every club than the ProV1x's, the other ball I use. The Nike balls are loud, lack the feel of a ProV1, and do really putt like rocks. I really would rather play a ProV1x as my consistent gamer but I can't ignore the fact that I shot my two lowest rounds with the Nike balls, go figure.
