Any chance this putter will be released here? It would look real good under the Christmas tree:)

Probably not, maybe as a limited edition for the USA. This putter is definitely not coming to retail in America. At least not in 2013.

If Odyssey does not bring this to retail in the U.S. with MIckelson gaming it- they better fire the marketing team!!!
This would sell like crazy!!

Mass produced???? Then bring them to the good ole USA!!!!!
Why would Odyssey mass produce something for a country that's the size of California. Especially when you have some of the best forging houses in Japan, right there. I got mine and it's made of Carbon Steel.

If you go the the Odyssey website for Japan, it clearly states that the putter is made in China. if it was forged in Japan at one of their forging houses, it would state that. Being made of carbon steel doesn't mean anything. There are about 1 million different types of carbon steel.the Protypes available here are carbon steel as well. I have owned all types of putters, including Guage Desing, Cameron, and Piretti. This putter is terms of machining doesn't hold a candle to the custom putters. This putter is no different than their Black Series or Protypes. No special machining here, just a run of the mill putter. They will probably release these in the states and they will be on sale fro 199.00 a year after they come out. IMO, this is not the quality that it should be for the cost. They are sellling these putters for 500.00. For that price they should be made in Japan. I do have to say it is a decent OTR putter. And I stand corrected, it is an Asian Country release including Korea.
