Couldn't find the butt diameters on the '07,'08 and 2.0 TM stock shafts.Any help would be
welcomed.Also I see that the cleveland sl290 drivers the butt end is .650. Is that right? And normal?

Im not sure here, but if its a "made for" TM often uses .0620
Normal or what ever that might be is 0.595 to 0.605

Cleveland's big thing is light weight drivers.  If they use a larger butt shaft, then the grip can have less rubber, thus it's lighter.

Its more to it.... stiffness can be made by using diameter or wall thickness, and in a light weight design you dont use wall thickness to get it stiff, thats why butt diameter is that large, but yes, they do save some rubber weight in the grip to
