Does anyone know what weight the head is?
I have a golo mid and was gonna chop it down. There are 10 gram weights in the sole. I cant find any info on head weight on their site

Cheers all

365 grams without the weights. 385 with the 10's installed. I cut down my mid and have been playing with it at 34". I took both weights out and find the head weight good but the shaft weight is more of a concern as well as the butt diameter. Grip will be stretched larger. Definitely would consider getting some weight in the grip end for counter balancing.

Any more info on this? or anyone else doing it?
I have been contemplating this for awhile, I tried to sell my 43 or trade for a del mar, but no luck.
I have an Iomic large putter grip at 70 grams coming I was going to put in, but was also concerned with the shaft weight and diameter.
Thanks

I am refinishing a new Golo Mid so I took the head off the shaft, took the weights off and took the sole plate off as ell

I weighed all of the elements individually and then weighed them together to make sure everything added up.

Head alone: 352g
Sole Plate w/ screws: 15g
Weights (Both together w/rubber rings): 19g

386g total

Yes, the 10g weights do not actual weigh 10 g. They were exactly 9.5g each.

What are you doing to refinish your GoLo. Could you share some photos?

I converted a Golo Mid to a 35" counterbalanced putter.  Simply cut to 35" and installed a TM DaddyLongLegs 130g 15" putter grip.  The weight alone in the grip helps to counterbalance.  I also reduced headweight to 375g by replacing the stock weights to 5g.  If you're using a standard putter grip 60-70g, find your local hardware store and purchase a 3/4" clevis pin that weighs around 60g.  Simply wrap masking tape on the pin shaft tape to make up for the smaller diamter of the pin and drop it in the butt of the shaft.  Most shafts butt diameter is the same as the head of the pin so it won't drop totally inside (test your shaft first).  After you have enough masking tape on the pin so if fits snug...install the putter grip and VIOLA!
