Any club champs out there? I know mine was the long weekend, and I managed to pull the 3 peat. How about you? How many rounds, match play finals, etc.... Let's hear it for good play in club events!

Yes Im a 4 time consecutive winner of Prestwick in Illinois. The returning champ is exemt andthe remaining 9 have to qualify over 36 hoes. Then we go into match play. The first two rounds are 18 holes and the finals are 36 holes.

I was Matchplay champ last year, but got knocked off early this year. Also me and my little brother are in our club's best ball finals. Each have been brackets of 16, the only big difference is that the best ball pays out in cash, while club champ just got a trophy.

I am at Greenhills in London, Ontario. My club c is only 54 holes, no match play or anything, but we have some pretty decent ballstrikers for sure.

My home course has been open since 1998, I've won club championship in match play 4 times and stroke play 2 out of 3 years. On my hometown's old POS course before my current home course opened, I had won match championship about 5-6 times in about 12-15 years, lost track of how many times. Also I won the very first club championship at Highland Springs CC where they have Nationwide tourney before I resigned my membership in '94.

I lost the club championship final match just twice, once to a guy who was 12 under par after 32 holes.

Our club champs is 4 rounds over 2 weekends off the stick. While I wasnt close to winning, I did wn the Junior Club Championship which I was pretty happy about. Just wish I played better though.

Well done Wiesy on the junior though! In my junior days I didn't play nearly as much or put enough emphasis on golf as I do now, and our junior program was big back then so I never had an opportunity to win. Keep up the good golf and you'll be mens champ soon enough.

Congratulations! Was 3rd in mine this year. A poor opening round killed me. Hoping for one next year.

There is two divisions at my club. A scratch and Handicap Division. I thought the scratch division was for scratch golfers so I signed up in the handicap division. It was a 5 round match play tournament, I got a buy through the first round, won 6 and 4 in the second, 3 and 1 in the 3rd and 2 and 1 in the semi finals (was 3 down through 5 holes, and had first lead of the match after 13). Im a sapposed to play the finals sometime soon but the phone number for my oppenent is the wrong one or he wont answer or something. Anyways Im in the finals and so far Ive had to give up 20 strokes in 3 rounds to these other guys.

I won mine in '02. The last three years I came in either 2nd or 3rd

I came in 2nd this year. Lost on the first extra hole.

I lost last year in extra holes. (different guy)

I've lost in the finals 6 years in a row!

I've lost to five different guys. I've qualified (36 holes - Top 16 advance)
and won three matches each year.

I just keep losing to the hottest guy.

Got the DVD from Performance institute and it is the one you talked about.

Thanks, haven't looked at it completely but seems like the first seasons episodes.
