I fear it may be dead. Which is sad because there are people here that could help out putting something together for a group of golf nuts who only know each other through the internet to go play golf together.

Although prizes, competition, OEMs would be a nice to have, I would think that for the 1st, it shouldn't be an all out extravaganza, but more of a "Hi, My name is kC, who's teeing off 1st?" And "Yes, I do like many types of single malts, have you tried..."

^^ Trust me ^^ I was a Tournament Director at a large group in Orlando that owned over 8 courses. We tried this once before, the logistics/money/sponsors were not coordinated nor do I think WRX felt adequately involved/compensated so it was squashed/I was informed if I used the forum to organize such gathering I would be banned... So naturally, I stopped... lol...

Wish they would host something like this, but it would be a mess to deal with given such a large membership. Would almost have to rent out/reserve all of Myrtle/hilton head/Orando.. lol..
