Sorry if this has already been asked, but I did a search and could not find the answer. With the new Titleist 913 driver coming out, do the the 910 tips fit, or is the tip on the 913 different? I have a few shafts with the 910 tips installed and it would be great if they will fit in the new 913 head. Thanks for the help.

910 tips will work only in the drivers.  Fairways and hybrids will have a new tip that is different.

This is 100% accurate.

Does anybody know if the tips will be exactly the same?  Curious if they've done anything to alleviate the ferrule creep problem with the 910 tips.

Not entirely sure on that one since I've only seen screwed together clubs and not loose shafts yet, but from what I do know they were concerned that if they didn't make the 910 tips work in the 913 driver a lot of people who paid for up-charge shafts would have been screwed.

Also, from what I was told, they are trying to see if they can make an adapter to convert the 910 fairway and hybrid tips to make them compatible in their 913 replacements.

It's going to be exactly the same. The problem you are referring to has to do with the ferrule and not the sleeve. When the ferrule gets warm it expands, and the visible section does this radially while the collar that fits down in the adapter does so longitudinally. Because the visible section is not providing any resistance, the collared section pushes it up and eventually it all comes up. The only way to keep this from happening is using a ferrule with no collar.

Not quite, what they are going to do is if you want to send your 910 fairway or hybrid shaft to Titleist they will replace the tip with a new 913 tip. I don't know any more of the details about this program yet like if they will return your tip, although I highly doubt it. And as for price I have heard that it will probably retail for around $40-$50 for this service.

Any insight why the FW and HY will have a new tip?

The new design gives the hosel a sleeker and smaller look at address. Also lowers the cg a bit.
