I like the show, I'll watch anything golf, but I hate how they rarely play golf unless it's the season finale. Why not have more playing, and less glass breaking?

It was odd how they determined who Derek had to play in the elimination challenge.  They had four guys, and then they suddenly tell Derek that he has to pick one of the other three to join him.  The other two get off the hook.

Definitly like the babes more than the dudes, though.

He was the loser of the sudden death immunity challenge playoff.  Therefore he was for sure going to be in the elimination. The other guys were just playing for a chance not to be.

Unscripted?  How about the part where they just happened to meet up in CA?  That was pretty bad.  Hopefully they will avoid that in future shows.

That was so obvious.  There are only about 75 courses within an hours drive of La Quinta California.  What are the odds the two guys featured on the show would be at the same course, at the same time.

Not a bad start....

I agree with the bad call on Sasquatch....if Derek got to know the guy at all he should have learned that Sasquatch supports himself and his family on his winnings....that means the guy can get it done.  I'm surprised he didn't go for Stu.....the guy looked more nervous than a hooker in church.....

IMO, the guys versions of the show have better players than the girls versions....however, I find with the guy version there's a heck of a lot less putting.....

Can't wait to see more of James.....i want to see his hockey style chipping in action.....and I'm guessing there's gonna be some pretty shameless plugging of Kikkor.....should be fun....

Yes but you have to assume Sasquatch does not tell the guys his back story. I mean you only blurt out your resume if you are trying to impress someone, and I have a feeling old Sasquatch is used to not talking about his game until the money is being paid out.

Even without him telling his back story, why would you choose a guy who is super long with lots of reserve power, who just stiffed it from 200 (and wanted to) to play in a one hole par 5 play off?

I assume that Derek is a Christian from his T-shirt. Tenth Avenue North is a contemporary Christian band. I'll bet that Derek chose Sasquatch instead of Stu was because he felt sorry for Stu. Probably would have felt guilty calling out the weakest. His compassion cost him, though.

Derek's friends with Rickie Fowler and Bubba Watson.....so yes, he's probably Christian.
