I currently game Titleist 200 series wedges and love the way they play around the green. However, I struggle with making consistent shots that require a 3/4 to full swing (e.g. an approach from 80-110 yards).

I was wondering if you all had any suggestions for a gap wedge that is a little more forgiving, especially when making a 3/4 to full swing. I also game the Bridgestone J40 DPC irons, so something that blends in with my irons would also be ideal.

I've been looking at the Ping Anser, CG16, Taylormade ATV, Callaway X series wedges. Thanks a bunch.

check your lies with the wedges. i have mine more upright for pitches and small chips, but for long swings, they toe dig. after a few weeks i went half way on the lie angles so i can make a full-swing with my 55* but it still chips well too.

i also have fallen in love with my punch W and punch GAP. a 1/2 swing, low follow thgrough and it one hop stops. much better at 110 than a full 55*

I think you just need to find a wedge that you like for full swings, even if it doesn't match.  I personally like the old X Forged Callaways.  I can make full swings with my 54 and my 60.  The 54 is my 80-90 yard club.

I love the CG14.

I do full swings with all of them: 52, 56 and 60. The black pearl finish on the Tour ones hold up pretty well too.

I have the N.S. Pro Super Peening Blue shafts in a stiff flex. They came with the used set of J40s I bought. I don't really know anything about the shafts, but I like the way they perform. Thanks.

Ping Tour S's have been in my bag of late and I've really had good success with them, coming off of '09 Spin Milled. My 58 I was struggling with a bit from the fairway also with the Vokeys. Wedge game has picked up nicely since the switch. Hit a nice 70 yard shot to a front pin yesterday to save a par. Even hit some decent bunker shots yesterday, which is my weakness. Plenty of bounce with the Tour S's, but they still slide under the ball nicely. S400 shafts.

Interesting. I was going to say that perhaps the problem was the heavier shaft in the Vokey (probably a DG S200/300) was part of the problem, but since the SPB is similar to it in weight and flex, I'm not so sure. Anyways, I'd suggest going a little softer in flex for the wedge to get the most out of 3/4 and full shots -  it just makes swinging it smoother to achieve a better strike easier. Secondly, the rounded leading edge of the 200 series may not be the easiest to control for certain swing types. A straighter leading edge may make ball striking easier depending on your swing....which leads to thirdly....
Get your bounce right. Each 200 series wedge would perform differently depending on your loft and sole. Here's a quick link to the different bounce specs and how they perform:

Thanks everyone. Obviously I'm going to just have to try some clubs and swing techniques to see what works for me. I appreciate all the tips and ideas.

I find that Ping Tour S wedges are the easist wedge to hit in "full shots"

It doesn't put much spin as Scratch wedges but that is ok with me
