Polo with a collar, cotton, polyester, whatever
Usually wear flip flops or tennis shoes to the range but always put on golf shoes as I only hit from the grass area

Anyway, to save space in the closet, keep people away from me when I am practicing, and to make sure I hit the ball better than my outfit so as to not draw sneers from my fellow participants I now wear; small nylon running shorts with a Nike Dri-fit tank top, ala a Kenyan marathoner. I am afraid to wear the wrong hat, so I go with a Terry Porter headband. On my feet I prefer my camouflage chuck taylors, but if they are stinky (and they do get stinky), I rotate in my Air Jordans circa 1985. When I play on the course I wear FJ, but I don't want to look like a poser on the range. Tube socks with multi-colored stripes around the top are my go to socks.
Anyway, if you see me, please don't set up next to me... thanks.

We now have a local super nice resort course that changed the dress code to: "come as you are" Sedona Golf Resort. A very nice course, high end, expensive and you can wear anything you darn well please. Really......you cares what you wear to the course. As bad as the economy is more courses should be doing this. Just 6 months ago this course sent a friend of mine to the local store to buy a collared shirt. The ones in the shop were way too expensive for him, there's an outlet mall nearby so he went there instead. No longer would he need to do that...........come as you are!!

but the course I play at (private), requires collared shirt and pants/shorts. No t-shirt or jeans..which is fine because likely I'm either warming up or just got off the course.
Although, I did see one member at the range on bare feet (this is off the grass and not mat).

Private club...no T's.
Oh, sometimes I'll wear this too, if I'm feeling classy, but I always make sure to cut holes in the shirt for my nips, don't want any chafing during my 7 hour range sessions!

When I arrive home after the range I immediately strip off in the hallway and shout 'TALC' to my wife, who then applies the comforting substance to my chaffed areas around my shnot.
