For those of you have owned Oakley shirts, do you know if they run true to size/smaller/larger ? I am looking for an atheltic  fit and I tend to prefer the fit of PUMA shirts...

Thanks

They fit great. Pretty true to size. There are some that are slimmer than others.

Has anyone tried their newer stuff? Im 167 lbs and I got a medium shirt and its really tight. Kind of shaped like a football player (wide shoulders and back, big chest, etc). Is a large a lot bigger?

Trust me when I say this...  If you have any Oakley shirts from the spring 2012 line and back and plan on ordering a shirt from the new fall 2012 line, GO UP A SIZE!  You're welcome!

I have about 10 oakley shirts from the previous line ups and the new stuff fits me just the same.

I have 40+ shirts from spring 2012 and back (all in size medium), and the 5 shirts I have from the new fall 2012 line (also mediums) are noticably a snugger than the others.

everything fit everyone different. That is wierd, that to you the new stuff fits different. We don't have ALOT of the new stuff, about 4 or 5 shirts so maybe the stuff you have we dont. Who knows?

The new shirts are cut different. The seams are no longer on top of the shoulder, they now wrap around the top of the shoulder. I have also noticed the new shirts to fit more snug.

Oakley definitely is moving towards the more athletic fit, but for the time being they definitely run true or very close to size IMO. You would be just fine ordering your normal size

Has anyone run into an issue with the lengths of Oakley shirts?  I wear an XL is virtually every golf shirt that I own.  I'm 6'4".  One thing that I noticed with Oakley shirts, compared to Puma, Travis Mathew, Sligo, AUR, etc. is that my Oakley shirt is very short in the torso and comes untucked several times per round.  I'm not sure that going up a size to an XXL would solve that.  I would be worried that it would make it baggier everyone else, but not longer.  It is so annoying to me to have my shirt come untucked constantly.  This never seems to happen with my Puma, Under Armour, or Travis Mathew shirts.  Maybe I'm alone with this one.  Any other tall guys have this problem with Oakley?

I think they run a touch smaller than most other offerings, The footjoy shirts sizing are crazy. I have an xlthat fits great and my wife bought me a couple of new ones in xl and they are more like a medium large than an xl. I think that most companies sizes vary a little from each season of clothing. Best to try before you buy.
