I holed out from 243 for an albatross 26 yrs ago,  Par 5.  Still my only one to date and still have no aces

It was a Maxfli DDH and a persimmon blonde McGregor 3 wood with an aluminum insert, ahh the glory days

Looks like I am the temporary par 5 leader for max distance off the deck :pimp:

FWIW ... That 287 ace is something else, I had another buddy get one on a 300ish par 4.  He is a plus 3 and still doesn't have a regular hole in one !

147 yards with a 9 iron for a double eagle on a par 5.

Other than that, I've holed out twice from around 80 yards for eagle on a par 4.

180 for Ace is longest personally.

But I witnessed, in the same group, a guy hole out from 265 yards on a par 4 for Ace as well.

Played on Monday in a charity scramble for one of the local colleges....
Holed it from 108 for eagle on our 5th hole...Longest hole out in probably 5 years...My group went nuts, the group on the tee went nuts....
And the best part was, our guy that hit first stoned it to like a foot.....And as the last hitter in the group...I joked and said "think this breaks left to right?" and followed it with "this is for my homies back home"....Hit a low slinger and just tracked in like a putt...Best feeling on the course in a while

220 out on a massive par-4 with a 5 wood.  I have never had an ace in 25 years of playing though.

Last year, I had an ace on a 100 yard par three. I no longer count that because it was a temp green with a 8" hole. Two weeks ago I holed out from 60 yards for a bogey. Saturday it was from 85 yards for a bird. Maybe my next one will be an eagle.

Had a 196 hole in one when I was 16. Earlier this year I was playing the Ritz Carlton when I was in Orlando for the PGA show and holed a 70 yard wedge shot. I felt crazy good about that shot before I hit it. It just fit my eye, so I told our fore caddie that I was going to hole it. You should have seen the look on his face after that ball rolled into the cup. It was complete and total luck though.

Last Friday, playing my first ever round with my new set of i20 irons I holed out with a 7 iron on the 3rd hole from 145 yards. I couldn't see the bottom of the pin but my playing partner had a clear view. It pitched about 3 feet short right of thr pin and dropped in.  A very promising start with my new clubs especially as I birdied the next hole from about 4 feet.

Longest hole out was a few weeks ago, a little ~50 yard pitch. One hop and dropped into the hole. Probably would have been way past had it not gone in, but it dropped, so it was a good shot. Haha

I was playing in a tournament last march and hit a 8 iron in from 145. I knew it was close but didn't know how close. It was wedged between the pin and the cup. As we dove up to the green, I could tell it was wedged, but it dropped into the hole. It was nice to see.

I flew a green and ended up on at the bottom of its steep backside with the ball above my feet and a knee almost on the hill (I wished I was in the Greenside bunker) I had about 3 yards of downhill green to work with. I hit a 64 slammed wide open, bounced once, rolled and dropped. I could probably never pull that shot off again - definitely once in a lifetime. By the way, the same day I was giving my 12 year old grandson a playing lesson and he chipped in a 35 footer and on the very next hole he hit the stick with a 20 footer. I'm hoping he gets serious about golf one day - right now he plays just to hangout and spend quality time with me.
