Well, I had been looking for a better shaft for my swing.. I swing around 110+ . NV 65 255 cpm stiff, NV 75 Stiff way too soft for me even for my smooth tempo .. Tried 55 V2 tipped 2 inch, 265 cpm.. but a little too much spin for me with the 905R 9.5.. and v2 65 S tipped 1 inch. pretty good results 265 cpm.

All 44.5 with 206 grams headweight.

Then.. My good ol 540 UL .. I used it for some time but was way too light for me with my old hitter method... glowing in my closet..

Whack them into the propulsion 440 10.5( I am a low launch player who like high launch, if i can i go for 11.5 ). straight in without tipping.

Ok.. this is great.. Mid launch( similar to diamana and v2), low spin cause i got plenty of roll... and TIGHT.... 250 cpm... but TIGHT,smooth,  LIGHT and STRAIGHT. Reminds me of the performance Diamana I had but with the FUJI triax like feel. Its suites high speed players... and i love it!

This shaft have like SPINES all over the shaft and it makes every impact feel more solid than usual... 55 bucks... you guys should try it.. if you are looking for something cheap..low spin, smooth and tight. Dont let the CPM fool you, it plays slightly stiff to flex.

The Graman ul shafts are the biggest secret in golf. They are some of the best built, best backed and best performing shafts on the market.
The ul780 is a 79 gram, 1.7* of torque, OZIK killer. It is the smoothest low torque shaft you will ever play.
They measure less than 1 cpm difference the entire circumference of the shaft, and are available in 5 cpm increments all the way to xxx flex.

To be fair...

there are alot of excellent shaft below 100.. Graman UL is one of them. If want to be very tight, yet low cpm... this is a good choice. The 440 and 640 are really nice too

I personally feel Accra tour, V2 , Evolution, YS series, are some of the sub price but really good quality shaft. Which I think are tight and good. V2 in particularly of very excellent quality and value.

What about UL780? Does it launch high or low? I'm looking for something to put in r7 460 TP head where I want to reduce spin yet maintain high launch for more carry and roll out.

The 780 hits ropes. Mid height, flat flight, awesome carry, hit the ground hot. Its got  the accuracy of a speeder 757 and then some and the feel of a ys-6+. Hard to beat for $100

780/540 have even less spin than v2 ...75/65..

Just be careful what you wish for.  the 540 have maybe the same or lower flight than 75 ( due to spin).. Thats why i said its very similar like diamana.

I agree these shafts are great - the best bargain shaft in golf, IMHO - and an excellent match for high spin heads.

I have a black cherry UL 780 coming... hopefully soon.
