try to go into the settings and dim the brightness. When I got mine, it was set from the factory on the brightest setting. it seems much sharper when dimmed down.

I did do that, and I think part of it is my eye sight might be apart of the issue.

I've had my Z6 since April. No problems to report. The optics are excellent. Try using a lens cleaner to keep your viewfinder clear of any smudges.
