I wouldn't stress too much (just yet) about no lefty driving irons... during the entire run of TA X-Prototypes, everything ever printed seemed to say "RH only", but there are plenty of us lefty's who own a set (or two ). All you had to do was ask Callaway for them. Hopefully that'll be the case with this utility club also.

I am a loyal Callaway supporter (currently game the '09 X Forged, Diablo 3 wood, Hex tour black ball, odessey putter) and have been dying to get my hands on one and counting down the days until they are available for pre-order. Only to find out there are no lefty in the ones being released in December. According to Callaway it will be later this year possibly, with no release date scheduled. If they are planning on doing them in lefty eventually why not in the beginning. I have come to accept that I have been cursed and relegated to the 8% of the golfing population and have fully come to expect being snubbed and ignored by almost every company. Thats why I was a huge CLeveland guy for so long because everything comes in lefty. But I was hopful that when your #1 guy is lefty, that we would get a little love.

No doubt, it's frustrating... up until 6 weeks ago, when I got the iron set in my signature, I was a Callaway iron and wedge guy. I played X-22 Tours for a season, and X-Prototypes for almost 4. I tried to play Callaway woods, but they never offered the stuff I wanted (lofts and face angle) in lefty, so I played Titleist. Then it became tougher to get the wedge loft/bounce combos I wanted, so I played Scratch then Vokey. As my game evolved, and I became stronger/more skilled, I had some choices to make with my new set of irons and wedges... and so I moved on. Like you, I could never comprehend how a company who's poster boy's nicknamed "Lefty", could be as un-lefty friendly as they were/are. I'm sure it has more to do with economics than anything else, but still.

I dig my Protos, but now they live in the travel bag. Shame really.

Only on the first release. This is a limited, allocated pre-pack from callaway.  They will be widely available in the spring, with other options. Just an early release for XMAS.

Man, I haven't used any Callaway stuff since I switched away from my X-22s and my FT-9, but no lefty stuff on the only product I've been excited about for years makes me feel like I'm probably done supporting them.
