So apparently no golf shops anywhere in my area carry these shoes. I had one guy tell me that they are too expensive to carry.  As I looked at the $300 Footjoys, I laughed.

Anyhow I have a pair of Nike free shoes and they are incredible I have even swung the club a few times in them and I love the feel and freedom of that kind of shoe.

I bought the FJ casual shoes and hate them with a passion.  So I would hate for another shoe experiment to fail like that one!

What have you guys felt love them, hate them?

AH yes thank you for this wonderful input.  I however did search, and did not find.  I was asking how they compare to their athletic running shoe and opinions.  I however was not getting that info in the stupid threads about them that talk more about what shade of white the swoosh is.  Or how they look with shorts......Or even the "OMG I ORDERED THEM WOWZERZ CANT WAIT" posts.

Tons of threads on these.  I've had them for a month or so now and absolutely love them.  Are they as comfortable as the free running shoes?  Not quite, but they are more comfortable than any other golf shoe I've tried.  And I've tried a LOT of them.

Played my third 18 in them today and I love these. I have not worn the Free's as I think that they are hideous, but compared to my Dryjoy tours they're amazing. They are a very comfortable shoes.

Hands down, best and comfiest golf shoes I have had. $180 is reasonable compared to $300 FJ's

I wear Free running shoes and recently picked up the TW13. They are both comfortable but feel completely different. The TWs, while flexible for a golf shoe, have a lot more support that the Free running shoes.  On that note, I can play in most running shoes but would not even try playing in my Free running shoes. I really like the TW13s but if you are doing a blind fitting, I doubt you would guess that they were part of the Free line.

I have both free running and the tw13s, and agree with what this guy said. Love both, but dont think i would use the love of one to purchase theother without trying on. The tw13 are more flexible then most golf shoes, but they still do provide support. Both great shoes imo.

Im thinking about picking up a set of these, but I heard they run small.

Confirm or deny?

I currently wear a Size 12 Nike in the Lunar Ascend, I'm told the TW13's run half a size or full size small, so I'd need a 12.5 (don't even know if they offer this or 13).

I wear a 12 in my free runs and the 12 inthe tw fits me perfectly. Absolutely love these shoes, walked 18 and had zero foot fatigue.

completely different. the nike frees are running shoes and are mesh constructed-single piece shoe.

the TW13s are great but do have some short comings:

tongue issue - hard to wear low cut socks/also falls to the side a lot

breath ability - they do get kind of stuffy on very hot and sunny days

I've never worn the Nike Free shoes, so I can't give you a comparison...

But the TW13s are the best combination of comfort and traction I've ever encountered in a golf shoe.  They look, and feel like you're wearing a typical tennis shoe or cross-trainer.   The new spikeless shoes like the Lunar Ascends are so comfortable, that it's almost like you are walking barefoot...but you pay a price in traction.  I would not want to be caught out on a wet golf course playing the Ascends.

But the TW13s, seem like they can handle any sort of course condition, while still giving you a remarkably comfortable shoe to wear.   I bought both the white and the black versions...and don't regret a penny of it.

I am finally going to pick up my pair today! After a long waiting period I am glad to say I will own these shoes. I wear frees all the time and these shoes are similar in some ways but in no way as flexible as a 5.0 sole because lets face it, we need more support, Tiger knows that as does Nike. However, they did do a great job with this shoe. I wear a 11.5 in my TW 2012's but I actually can wear a 11 in these which really had me thinking.... Still does.......

Long time nike free booster, great training shoe.
The TW13s are great, but as posted a stiffer and more "rubber" feeling shoe than the mesh frees.  That being said, very comfortable (not as roomy as Trues) with super grip.  The combination of comfort and grip combined make it a great shoe in my mind.  Don't have to sacrifice ANY traction for comfort (as I had to with spike less shoes).

The shoe rides a bit higher than most, but you get used to it pretty quick.

love the shoe but they do not breath well, i.e. my feet sweat.
nike needs a materproof pair and a breathable pair
