I have a set of vintage Hogan Apex blades 2-PW and I am trying to identify the period they were built.  I have looked on various websites that have photos of the various Hogan irons over the years and I can't find them.  I have attached some photos showing the back, sole and shaft.  I find it weird that the set has a pitching wedge rather than an equalizer wedge.  One other thing to add about them is the heads are not pinned to the shafts.  Hopefully someone can help me out.

They have AMF on the label. My friend had a full set of woods and irons when BH was under the AMF umbrella so I am guessing somewhere between 1982 and 1985. His had the Vector shaft which was like a steel precursor the TM's Bubble..

These have Apex shafts, flex #4.  From what I have read, Hogans normally came with red numbers on the soles of the clubs.  These have black numbers.  I got the clubs from a guy from the UK, I wonder if they are a European version.  The "pitching wedge" part is the biggest head sctratcher though.

Having had numerous sets of hogans every set I've had came with a E for pw, these def look like mid 70s to very early 80s. I am at work I will try and find the Hogan website I used to identify my hogan personals I bought of the bay.

I have a couple other sets of Hogans as well, and they have E wedges as well.  I saw some that had "Equalizer" stamped on the soles, but have never seen ones with "Pitching Wedge" stamped on them.

They look like European version.  Similar to Slazenger version Hogans that were only available in Europe.  As far as AMF, I understood AMF owned Hogan from the early 60's to the mid 80's.  The blade design looks like late 70's to mid 80's
