Does anyone know what the difference is between the original mashie hybrid and the 2012 version?

2012:  new sole rails, less offset, less of a closed face.

Can anyone else confirm these characteristics?  I don't see anything about it on the Cleveland website...

I've seen it up close and will confirm all that was said.  There definitely is less offset which is nice.

Cleveland hasn't marketed the changes other than the new rails but there's a significant change in offset and face angle.

Definitely less offset and the face is square vs. closed. I have had both – did not like the original, the updated version is much, much, better.

Absolutely love the 2012 Mashies.  I never played the originals, but I heard there were some hook problems and the like.  In about 10 rounds with the new Mashies, haven't hit one hook with them, and they have been outstanding.  Great heads, and great shafts.  I was coming from G15's most recently, and Rapture V2's before that, both of which I would have occasional hook problems with.
