Cobra S3. Deep face. Not huge at address. Adjustable. Best driver I've used in quite a few years.

Callaway RAZR Fit and RAZR Hawk Tour

+1

The razr fit looks very compact and classic at address, yet it is one of the most forgiving drivers i have played.

Another recommendation is the Cobra S9-1 Pro D, a few years old but it was super compact and a bomber.

How about Cleveland Launcher SL290 driver?  IS it a compact looking driver?

I think it looks somewhat compact, at least compared to my G15.

I'm loving the SL290 so far, but have only used it for 1 round and 1 range session.  Initial impressions vs. the G15- I find the SL290 much easier to align for some reason (where the crown meets the face looks very straight and helps me align), and have gained a real 10-15 yards.  The G15 (TFC149D r-flex) had a tendency to fade/slice and lost a lot of distance at the end by landing very soft (balooning?).  The SL290 (Miyazaki 43s) is giving me a gentle fade and hits the ground running.  On average I'm getting about 10 yards more, but hit 3 of the longest drives of the season with the SL290 in my first round (several at around 255 with roll and some slight helping wind, and my clubhead speed is only 93ish).  Also, on the Ping n-Flight simulator I gained 5 mph clubhead speed with the SL290 vs my G15.  Not surprising the G15 is 44.5" with some lead tape on it and the SL290 is 45.75" and is 'ultralite'.
