Obviously the irons are different, but if the poster that said he has a Titleist driver in the bag then that has been changed since the RTO two weeks ago as well.  He played a Taylormade driver when I followed him.   And for all the guys calling him washed up, he had one of the most beautiful ball flights I have ever seen. Problem was if he aimed left he hit it left, aim right hit it right.  And couldn't make a putt to save his life.  Amazing how such a tiny difference can be the difference between great and terrible professional golf.

That counts as a "tiny" difference?  No direction control and not making any putts? Hmm...

In that case, every muni is full of guys that are close to playing great professional golf!

He said the difference between great and terrible PROFESSIONAL golf, not terrible golf and professional.

In that case it's farther off the mark. The difference between those two is usually about half a dozen putts. The putting leader for the week usually wins...

BiG? Engineered in Germany, made in China? Never seen those anywhere advertised in Germany, not at any exibition, German mags, nor have seen anybody playing those. Give those guys credit for trying and getting those clubs on the tour. Time will show and maybe one day I will demo those. Exclusive - as Golf in Germany?

I can see a fair bit of interest in BIG. I got fitted last year, in Singapore they have a set up here as well. Costs more but it's what I say " the last set youll ever buy" so not so costly then...
Their shafts are the only aluminum carbon composites on the planet reducing torque to very low levels. ( they custom fit each shaft so there is no one flex or torque)
They work backwards from distance sought rather than " oh I can hit my 7 iron 180 yards with the new rb* tm which is actually a 5 iron as we all know!
So very methodical
I particularly like their wedges and long irons. Forging are world class ( I have Hondas and Miuras as well as mizunos I'd say they are the same )
Big differences are in the different shafts they use across the golf set
Let's see how double d does !

May I ask which fitter in Singapore did you see for you B.I.G clubs? Have yet to see those clubs here personally. Thanks!

This guy may still surprise some people if he ever gets healthy.  Could have been an all timer had it not been for injuries.  Would love to see him find form again.

Ok Dave.....

If we go by that measure then I suppose we shouldnt discuss ANY Tour players with the exception of a small percentage of members here.  With that established, I will go back to being a huge NON-fan of DD.

Although I was hoping he would ATLEAST pull a top 5 and get Scratch some good exposure but now that small bit of hope is gone.....

Im sure he will put together a few decent rounds sooner or later on the Web.com Tour.

DD was to play in 3 Fall Series events, however I see he is no longer listed in the field for the Timberlake and McGladry events.

I was going to say the same thing.... maybe Pointbeach will praise their graces.

Maybe they are amazing clubs, i have no idea. They don't look like anything special, but you never know if they are using a revolutionary fitting procedure that will make you better.... they can't be that good because there isn't white on them so deduct 17 yards right there.

I just watched the video.

It's hilarious during the part where they say, "Our Bioengineers conduct rigorous quality checks to ensure zero tolerance standards." During that part of the video there's a guy in a suit and a salesman in white gloves just looking at the club and pointing at it. That seems pretty scientific to me.

Duval was a birdie machine with his old putter.  He made a lot of bogies too, but was a great putter.  Don't understand the switch.

Hope he gets better next year.  I heard he hurt himself this year which is why he had to withdraw from the Fall series events.

DD was to play Second Stage QSchool at Bear Creek in CA last week. However, he is still suffering from a broken bone in his foot and had to withdraw from the event.  The same injury caused him to withdraw from the Fall Series events.

He also has bone spurs in both knees, so he really needs to get healthy first.

He is playing in a Miltary Appreciation Fundraiser Pro-Am event in Florida on 11/30 & 12/1.  www.galaforb4b.org/

Look for him to get up to 10 starts on the PGA Tour in 2013 using his past champion status.  He may also play in a few web.com events in 2013 as well.

Also, DD, along with many others, made a couple unfortunate real estate decisions. 2013 can not get here quick enough for DD.

They look like his old Titleist DCI series irons from the late 1990's
