Both mallet style, both pretty similar, both received high marks from Golf Digest, which one would you choose? I know a lot of it is personal preference and feel but I'd like to hear some opinions from others.

Insert is so much better on the Metal-X.

my personal opinion after rolling both is the ghost. the ghost has an amazing alignment system where it is so easy to roll it straight, plus they ball has a really nice roll to it. very pure and the putter fits great for a sbst stroke.

Dart is very easy to align.  Insert took a few holes to get use too, but its a very solid putter.

Metal X inserts are not to my liking in the least. I've tried it in a few different styles and I don't care how well its supposed to roll the rock, -it feels like a rock coming off the face. Had a Ghost briefly and it felt much better, but the shaggy greens I had been playing didn't seem to like that insert either. Had trouble getting it to the hole. It was replaced by a SeeMore. (Yes, I'm on a putter merry-go-round.) It's been the Anser 5 milled of late. LOL!

I have had unbelievable days putting with the Metal X Dart. Last two rounds even and one under and many one putts to be had. I use it at 33 with the 370 gram weight and a Cameron Baby T. I also found a better feel with the heavier weight.

Come to think of it, I think it is the grip!

Dart here belly style. Picked it up 2 weeks ago and since then had my best putting days. Distance control is superb and roll is also
