Ahhhhhhhh........the pursuit of owning the latest and greatest "Labels".......
Here is the situation. Guy comes in with his nice shiny new blades that he has only had for about 3 months.....He LOVES them except for the shafts....when he bought them they had KBS Tour X in black nickel finish. Looks real nice with the black oxide Miura heads. He says he just HAS to switch them out for the latest KBS Custom Tour X in black paint finish....Newer must be better,,,,right? He happily chokes out the price for the shafts, grips and my labor charges.....just a little north of $600.
Now the job is done and I tested them before and after....exactly the same frequency, balance point, weight and swing weight. Ahhh but that sexy black paint finish with the new KBS logo .........should be worth at least 3 or 4 strokes a round

I love these guys.........let the $$$$$$ flow.

I NEVER bite a ho's hand....after all, if I had a dozen customers like this I could tell all the rest to get lost....well!! Not quite. But I DO love these guys

Wow! Is this guy a member on here?  If he's not he's gotta be the biggest non-WRX ho.  I'm a big ho, but I'm not gonna pay even $100 to swap out black shaft for black shaft for a new label.  If the labels are all he needed he may have been able to contact KBS and get them for free.  I had some C-Tapers with the "Prototype" stickers on them but wanted some of the stock labels in case the buyer wanted them when I sold them and they sent me 9 for free.

Glad you could make some $ off it, though.

The "Custom Tour" shafts have the logos painted or lasered on....not interchangeable. I am sure he will be happy with his "New" shafts.

Ah, kind of like the people asking where to get the DG Tour Issue "labels" when they aren't stickers.  Well, hope he likes them!

I haven't seen any of the new Custom Tour shafts that have been in use long enough to know.......but they are just a painted (maybe powder coated) shaft. I'll stick with good old school chrome/nickel shafts.
