Yeah, I tried the code, and it said the OEM wouldn't allow it. I will be a bit shocked if they actually ship

Just remember that those are cast irons (-R = remake) and not the forged iron set.  Otherwise, great deal

I wouldn't mess with any amazing deals from them.  Anyone who's been reading this forum for the last while should know what's going to happen.

Y, I also had a lot of weird experience with them. It's hard to imagine how screwed up gs is right now.

I bought a set of the A4 forged a month or so ago with Project X shafts.

Great iron. replaced my set of VR full cavities.

On a side note, are the R and the Forged versions identical in everything but finish and one cast vs forged?

Yes that is correct I have the A4 forged really solid irons especially with the aerotech steel fibers I have in them long with an awesome flight .

The A4 forged are great irons, I havent tried the A4r but if you want a really sweet set find some A4 tour satins. Some of the best looking and playing irons I have ever had!!

they probably wanted to get rid of the leftovers, and the price is prtty believable.
last winter, i bought a set of a4r for $150 from another retailer.
even tho these are cast, they feel almost as good as some forged irons i have tried in the past.
great clubs.

Great deal - these make for a sweet backup/travel set or a cheap way for a beginner to get a decent set of clubs. I picked these up in 5-GW over the winter based on the price - same head size/shape as the original A4's so they look great at address and the cavity badge is subtle but sharp. Will be in my bag for while, especially if I install some better shafts.
