I don't have any inside info or anything, but I would be very surprised if they did.  Woods are being updated this year, as you mentioned, so I would expect irons the year after.

712's just came out. I believe its a 2 year cycle, but I could be wrong.  However, would be stupid if they released new irons anyway. It would be the exact same as the 712's, but probably some stupid color change.

Lol people say that all the time but then when a company comes out with some new design its always that's ugly I couldn't play that I'm a traditionalist. Not picking on you just saying what should clubs look like.

The 714's would be the next set of irons if they stick to scheduled releases. November 2013 would be the release timing.

Ye, Titleist is pretty easy to judge. Every even numbered year they release new woods that are first seen around Open Championship-PGA time. Every odd numbered year it is irons, and they usually appear slightly earlier.

Mizuno is also predictable, as is Ping. TM have a semi-regular cycle in that usually 2 lines of woods and hybrids are released every odd year and every even year they update the woods to a S/2.0 version but they mix it up every now and then.

Cleveland, Cobra, Adams and Callaway are all over the place.

Titleist always has a two year life cycle.  That being said each year Titleist falls more and more behind their competiton.  We will see if Rory going to Nike or Taylor Made impacts sales on the new products.

Titleist Woods are odd numbered years and irons are even numbered years.  There is speculation that the reason why the 910 woods were called 910 because most companies are trying to stay away using the numbers "911".

They did not sell the 910 woods until 2011.

Let's see, they are number one in balls, number one in wedges, number two in drivers, number two in putters.

He must be referring to hybrid sales.

The only thing they need to do is bring the forged Japanese market Vokeys to the UK and USA. SM4s have not done well in our area and our local Pro and off course shop do a roaring trade in used Spin Milleds. As for Rors going anywhere forget it. He is Titleist thru and thru and one of the main reasons for changing managers was Chandler being desperate for him to go to Nike as he takes his cut off his stable endorsements rather than winnings......

His contract is up with Oakley and Titleist.  My understanding is that both Nike and Taylor Made are offering him a good amount of money.  Remember Titleist wouldn't pay Tiger, why would they pay Rory!

The only reason SM4's wouldn't sell is if older SM's were on sale at that store. Vokeys are easily the most popular wedge.

Why would you want to match $20 million/year for someone to play your clubs?  Nike won't offer Rory that kind of $.

That's right.  No one is bigger than the brand.  They let everyone go...Ernie, Phil, Tiger, Sergio...etc.

Exactly, they won't pay "clown" numbers!

Unlike Nike's equipment, Titleist essentially sells itself.  (Nike apparel still sells itself, however).

It's not scientific by any means, but check the BST forum over any given time period & you'll consistently see Titleist w/ the highest resale value. That can be said w/out including Scotty's.

Equipment changes following solid performances usually don't pay off.  See AK/Camilo.
