When I load a thread, usually one with lots of pics or really slow ads, I find that when I attempt to scroll it wants to jump back to where I was when I first opened the thread.  This continues even after I click the "X" to stop the page from loading. It's almost like there's a preset somewhere that is forcing the page to finish loading.  This gets really annoying, especially when I just want to read one or two posts down, or go back to the top of the page.  Is there a way to turn this off?

Not that I'm aware of as it's the browsers still loading images and code.

Well, this is the only site I visit that does this, and it only started after the last huge update.  Mobile version or full size on either my iPhone or iPad.

A similar issue on mobile, is if I'm farther down a thread and want to access my messages. To do so, I scroll up to the top to push that button in the top right corner.  But, what usually happens is the menu drops down, and the browser returns to the bottom of the page.  I have to physically scroll back up again to click "messages".
