I have hit all of the new irons. Went through a fitting yesterday. Focused on the 825 Pros. Which IMO are light years better than the 800 Pros. Better looking, WAY more solid feeling. I always felt the 800 Pros were clunky and very non-Mizuno feeling. It's very likely I will be placing an order in the next few days. For 825 Pros with KBS Tour X shafts. Those shafts were the run away winner for me during my fitting. Finally going to replace my MP-60's!!
I hit the 825 pros with Project Xi's and loved them. Much improved in looks and feel from the 800 pro and I had very consistant results in terms of yardage and direction on the monitor. Agree, great irons.

Yeah, I wanted to love the PXi's, but they just weren't the right match for me. My dispersion was not near as good as the KBS Tour X. Must be the lighter weight since I swing pretty fast. Smooth 6 iron swing is 92-94 mph. The optimizer wanted me in heavier shafts, DG X, KBS X, PX 6.5.

Been gaming them for a couple weeks. Custom fit. I'm impressed. My father is getting fit for a set now. I'm about a club longer due to fitting and swing changes. Accuracy is great. They look VERY nice to me. Honestly, I can't think of what else someone might expect from a GI iron, once fitted with the right shafts and L/L/L. Great time to be a golfer with all these high tech choices.

Funny, I played the same Nike irons last year and have a similar experience switching. I find them longer too, but that might be the shaft in my case. Frankly, I liked the Nike vr pro cavities quite a bit. Had the shafts been a better fit, I may have kept them as backup or a leave behind set at a relative's house.

Thats why i changed too, the dynalite shafts were making me hit it way to high with the nike although i loved the heads.

You have the 825 driver I assume? How are you liking compared to what you have used in the past?
I like the head. It's kinda loud but not offensive. Comparable distance to what I've used in the past but very easy to hit the ball straight. I went with the stock Fujikura Orochi blue, I was getting great numbers on center hits.
A little bird told me that there may be a new adjustable Mizuno driver on the way, I am excited for that as well.

I have the 54 and 58 JPX wedges with Project X 5.5 shafts. 2 degrees up. Also using the 50 degree JPX 825 gap wedge.
It's funny, I had the same 54/58 setup with my Vokey's previously, and with those I LOVED the 54 but rarely used the 58. With the JPX wedges I took to the 58 immediately and it's greatly improved my chipping and approach shots from under 70-75 yards.

Interesting. I hope they still offer a glued version too though.
I'm a big fan of the 825 head, it sets up perfect for me.
