I am proud to announce a new line of Custom MACHINE Green Tools for 2012!

We are now offering Custom Milled Green Repair tools designed by Dave and milled and finished entirely in house here in Texas.  We believe these are the finest green repair tools ever made.

Dave has been making hand made, one-of-a-kind green tools for friends and players for many years, and now we are making them available in limited editions for the first time, and we are showing and making then available to you here first before anyone else in the world!

In this 1^st Release Limited Edition run we have the following Custom Green Tools available:

Damascus Hand Made Customs -10 pieces, all exquisite, one-of-a-kind designs!
Damascus CNC Milled Customs – 25 pieces!
Stainless, Brass and Bronze Customs – 50 pieces in a variety of custom options
Aerospace Alloy CNC Customs – 100 pieces in a variety of finishes and paint fill options


The first two designs are shown in the attached photos with a variety of combinations of materials and finishes, and more designs, combinations, custom options will be shown in the coming days as Dave releases the new designs, and shows off new levels customization and personalization.

Hey Guys,

Had some people asking some questions about these so I wanted to post the answers for everyone:

1) On the Stainless Model, the Standard Medallion is the Alloy Medallion in either the standard Finish, a Black Anodized Finish, a Red Anodized Finish or a Blue Anodized Finish.  We can definitely do any medallion that you would like on this to include Damascus, Copper and Mokume

2) On the Alloy Medallions, We are offering these for a Limited Time with a Free Anodized Finish.  You can choose between the Standard Alloy Color, a Black Anodized Finish, a Blue Anodized Finish or a Red Anodized Finish.

3) All Medallions come standard with the MACHINE Logo Engraved.  You can also elect to have your name or saying engraved on the Medallion.  There is a $30.00 Charge to have the Medallion Custom Engraved.

Hey Everyone,

Attached below are some of the other Green Tools we have been making lately, both as the Limited Edition 1st Run of Hand Made One-of-a-kind models, as well as some of the offshoots that have come from them (short run production orders and additional prototypes).   Hope you enjoy the photos as much as we have had making these so far!  (with new models also in the works).

First up is a family photo of the first 12 pieces of Hand Made's (two already on their way to customers at this point), some further along than others obviously



Next up is one of the first Prototypes that has since gone into a short run production.  This is Proto MGT-1, shown here in Damascus with Rainbow Torch finish, and outfitted with a Mokume Gane Medallion with our Dog & Ball logo engraved and multilayer patina applied.  



Here is a slightly modified version of the MGT-1 in Aluminum Bronze, with custom initials engraved in an Aluminum Bronze medallion:



We have also received a lot of requests for the Single Prong or "One Tine" variety, as you can see in the photos below.  First up for these is Prototype # 1, a Damascus Hand Made with our MACHINE logo on one side and the Dog & Ball Logo and Proto #1 hand stamped on other.  




We've made some modified versions of these in Steel with White Ash Burl exotic hardwood medallion, as you can see below:

Per my previous post, following are some more photos of the 1st Run of Hand Made Prototypes and offshoots:

Next up is one of the two larger Proto Green Tools with 1" Damascus Ball Markers held in with super magnets.  This first one has a Mokume Gane Logo Medallion:

And here are the wild offshoots from the One Tine variety.  These are called Disco Ball One Tine's and feature removable butt caps with smaller 0.750" ball markers with stem, held in place with a super magnet and also featuring a brush to clean out the grooves of your MACHINE:







All the parts of these (except the brush) were hand turned on our Hardinge Tool Room lathe, and then hand milled on the Bridgeport mill for the Disco Ball (and modified Disco Ball) patterning (which removes weight but maintains strength).

I am also hand making leather and Kydex sheaths for these that will clip to your belt or pants pocket and keep them from poking you in your pocket!  lol  I'll post photos as soon as those are finished.

These 2 Green Repair Tools were Hand Made from Damascus Steel and feature Custom Engraved detachable Damascus Steel Ball Markers as well as Custom Engraved Damascus Steel Medallions.

There's still a little more work to do on these, but they are coming along nicely

This Single Tine Custom Green Repair Tool was Hand Made out of Damascus Steel.  There is still a little more work to do, but she is coming along nicely.

Hey Everyone,

Here are a custom pair of Green Tools we finished recently for a customer.  These are "two-of-a-kind" hand milled Damascus with hand-turned custom Damascus ball markers with personalized engraving on the Damascus Logo Medallions and Ball Markers.  

Super magnets hold the ball markers in place but are easily slid out of their groove with a simple motion of your thumb.  All Damascus parts are acid etched and hand finished, hand torched and aged oil quenched, then protected with a concentrated Carnauba wax.
